ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

Pioneer Concrete believes in finding the best possible ways to serve customers, which also includes being mindful of the environment. Though it may not be common knowledge, concrete is one of the most natural and environmentally-friendly building materials in existence. It is almost entirely made of natural resources found in the earth’s surface. Limestone, the predominant component of cement, is recovered from very shallow mines. This means less energy to acquire it and less impact on the earth’s surface.

Pioneer is also leading the way in promoting the most environmentally-friendly concrete products, such as pervious concrete, which allows for water drainage through the pours of the concrete and into the ground. Through these and other products and methods, Pioneer remains ever-conscious of the environment.
