Since being founded in 1955, Tilcon Delaware has been providing high-quality paving and construction materials to the Delmarva Peninsula. In 1996, Tilcon became a member of Oldcastle Materials, Inc. and eventually formed the Mid-Atlantic Group of Oldcastle along with Pennsy Supply , Slusser Brothers and Pioneer Concrete . Oldcastle is the leading vertical integrated supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix concrete and paving services in the United States and is one of four divisions of CRH plc , in the international building materials group.
